Still playing this game... I've been searching all month for at least 30 minutes a day, sometimes an hour and a half, for the giant petaltail dragonfly. I finally caught it last night! The bug must show up more when you have online visitors because I've been looking all month, but then last night a friend visited my town and 3 appeared in my town. I caught one of them. So now I just have 2 more fish to catch next month, and three more bugs that will appear next month. Then I will get my prize for catching them all. I still have 3 paintings left before my museum is full. Once I hit the one year anniversary of playing the game, which will be at Thanksgiving, I will receive that in-game reward. I don't know if that means my time with the game will be over or not, it'd be kinda sad to let my town go. Before I quit playing this game I want to do a video tour of my town. Oh yeah, Nintendo sent a couple more free DLC items last week as well. Some ladder shades and a hopscotch carpet. I put the carpet in my basement. |

resurrecting this thread because I just rented this game. I played a little bit last night, I thought it was OK and thought to myself this is it? Then I would say I'll do one more thing and then shut it off and then one more thing and so on till I played for 2 hours I have Cherries as my fruit and I just planted a couple and that Nook is a slave driver

It's slow going at first, but then the game takes off. That's what I've seen everyone say about all the versions. |

yeah you can spend hours at a time on this game without knowing it. I spent a lot of time making my town just like I wanted and played a full year of the game to catch all the fish and bugs. Every now and then I have the urge to fire it up again but I don't because I'd be too depressed about what my town has probably turned into LOL |
