NCAA 11!

I like the Tigers team. I think their offense will be better than expected. Getting Damon was huge for the top of the order and they have some good depth now that Raburn can go back to being a utility guy. They have a lot of great young arms in the organization, particularly in relief. But it's the young arms in the rotation - Porcello and Scherzer that will determine just how good this pitching staff will be. We are counting on them a little too much imo. But if they produce our pitching and defense should be really good.

I think Minnesota is still the team to beat after getting the O-Dog, Hardy and Thome in the off-season but that pitching staff ain't so good. I'm expecting both Boston and New York to make the playoffs so to get in the playoffs the Tigers will need to win their division. The White Sox are a bit of a motley crue but that pitching staff is underrated and will keep them in the race.

I think the Royals will stink and I don't have much fear of the rebuilding Indians either.

Thome at Minny will be interesting since he'll be a DH. Hopefully he's productive since I like the guy. :)

I'm a Red Sox fan, but I'm sick of them and the Yankees being in the playoffs each year (or close too).

The Indians will probably suck, but who knows. They might rattle off more wins than people think.

It would be nice to see the Royals not be horrid.

Thome isn't expected to be the everyday DH. He'll do a lot of pinch hitting and whatnot. Jason Kubel is already established as the DH there, and Mauer gets a lot of time there when they give him an off day Catching.
