NCAA 11!

EA is cutting NCAA Basketball from their lineup. No more college basketball games from anyone. The diehards on OS love playing those games but the truth is that college basketball is nothing more than an office pool to the casual fan. Most great players leave so soon to the NBA that college basketball has no personality. People only know the tournament while the regular season is ignored. And the tournament is for betting. Even when 2K was making college basketball games the sales were low. It's a niche sport. EA is bringing NBA Jam back and I guess they are going to focus on a more arcade version of basketball next year rather than trying to compete with NBA 2K straight up in the sim market. Are you serious??? They think by making an unrealistic basketball game they're going to make more money? Wow. I hope it crashes horribly so that no other company ever attempts such a ridiculous thing. The majority want sim. |

It will probably do fine. Less complicated AI to program, Less mo cap. I'm sure is a smaller team doing it.....lower costs and if you search v charts....casual games sell much more than most sims of anything....it sucks but most of the masses barely know enough about the sport they are playing. |

They're still doing Live and they still plan on taking it in a sim direction. NBA Jam is meant as a more arcadey alternative. |
