I'd like to hear from those that have downloaded the latest tuner set. How different does the game feel? I'm going to be getting the PS3 version shortly. I love how you can import music and custom rosters via USB port. There's a highly respected custom roster set located here. Lots of rerates and created players that make the game more realistic: http://sites.google.com/site/nhlrosters/ |

I'll grab the new Tuner set in a bit. I have yet to download rosters outside of EA's. |

Me neither. But I'm intrigued with what this guys rosters can do. Apparently, they make the game a lot more realistic. |

Hank, I've been playing with it more. I can't really tell you the technical crap that most of the people on other sites like 2k Hockey or even the EA NHL forums could. To me it feels like the Goalies aren't superhuman anymore. Slower reaction time across the board which has made for some shots to go in that you would normally see in real life... like a goalie pulling to much to one side and then having a shot blast past him. You weren't seeing that much before this new tuner set. I've noticed the AI not passing tape to tape as much more so than before. I'm really pleased with the Gameplay now. All my complaints that I personally had are pretty well gone. |

Thanks for the impressions Ted. I've heard the same from several people on OS. Money's a bit tight right now, but if I can find a cheap copy I'm going to pick it up again. |
