Hahaha! How can this guy say that steroid's don't help you hit more homeruns?

Just look at the stats during the roid-era compared to now?
After the inquisition, Sosa went from a perennial 50 HR hitter to 14. Sure, steroids has nothing to do with it. :confused2:

Anyone who knows anything realizes that mass+speed=power. It's simple physics.
Sure, steroids won't help you hit the ball more squarely, but it will help bulk you up, keep you healthier and give you more power.
So those 290 foot can-of-corn outs are suddenly 330' HR's.

Not everyone turns into a 50 HR king, but if you were a 30HR guy, with more bulk and power, you could easily surpass 50 like Bonds did.
And there are some experts out there that say steroids CAN help with your eyesight as you get older.

While the Roid-Era was entertaining it puts a black eye on baseball and it's stats. And let's not fool ourselves. Baseball is all about the stats.
It's the only way to truly gauge players from different era's.
And like many MLB players have said, most dream of getting into the Hall of Fame, not winning the World Series. And how do you get in the Hall? With stats.

Steroids destroyed the only constant in baseball. And lets not forget how many kids got hooked on this stuff trying to get a scholarship or big league contract. You can't avoid that part of the equation.
Lets not forget how many kids are STILL trying to use stuff to get that competitive edge and how many High Schools and Colleges will turn a blind eye to steroid use. Steroids go back to the 60s and 70s, but weren't as good as what was born in the 90s and god knows what now in the 00s and 10s. Cheating has always been a part of sports... from spit balls to pine tar to corked bats to guys taking amphetamines to stay amped up. Lets not forget that some guys during the 80s were totally f**king high as a kite like Doc Gooden on Coke, etc... not that coke is going to help you out physically.
