It seems like you guys post about a wrestling death every week for crying out loud. Wrestling gets huge ratings with kids and congress doesn't seem to care about the HUGE death rate attached to the sport. They will butt in and force a steroid policy on the baseball players and try to legislate the BCS but largely leave the wrestling world untouched. Wrestling is labeled entertainment but the crazy amount of deaths of people in the prime of their lives is absolutely insane. They need a mandatory drug testing policy run overseen by an independent government official. |

A lot of these guys that had died in their 40s and 50s the past few years were heavily into drugs during the 80s and 90s. Most of the guys now a days are pretty good about not taking much. Some of them do take pain killers. Some have abused them. But the steroid use and hardcore drugs aren't like it was in the 80s and 90s. That being said, the current "issue" in WWE is the amount of pot use. I agree though. That they need to have strict testing that actually means something. |

Rudy, Ted nailed it on the head with his comments. But this related death had to due with natural causes. Dr. Death Steve Williams has battled cancer over the last several years and it finally did him in. |

Oops. I guess when I hear about a someone in wrestling dying, I automatically assume he's young and healthy apart from steroid abuse. |
