You can never say never. People said that about Madden and 2K football started to make serious strides after some years. Look at the stranglehold EA had in the basketball market 10 years ago. NBA 2K now reigns supreme. The big difference is that the Show is considered to be extremely good by most people. It's incredibly polished minus a few hiccups. It will be tough to top but 2K isn't trying to beat the Show by doing what the Show does better. They are catering to a slightly different audience with their controls and gameplay imo.
