Steely Dan was great! I think my favorite by them was an album called AJA'. The song Deacon blues was on that one. It also had a great jazz/shuffle song on it "I got the news" I played that whole album till' I wore it out! Jim Croce had more hit songs than people realized and I think to some extent he gets rediscovered with each new generation, kinda like the Beatles and such. Does anyone remember a band called Sweet? there was a cheesey one by them I still like alot called "Little Willie won't go home" or something close to that-very catchy song. I also liked "Love is like oxygen" by them. Good times.
I'd list a few other honorable mentions right now but it's early and I have yet to have had a cup of coffee.
