fair enough, its really comparing apples and oranges, Gretzky really was the catalyst for the NHL expansion and IMO Gretzky saved a league Mario saved a city. I do wonder if the roles were reversed and Gretzky had the health issues and Mario didn't who would come out on top. I do believe that with Mario being out his body took less pounding than Gretzky and yes Gretzky avoided a lot of contact because of his stature and on ice vision but it still takes a lot out of you. I guess because I saw a lot of what Gretzky did first hand, it is ingrained in me that he was better, he really lit up this city when he was here. |

To be honest either could be called the greatest and there is not really any argument either way. They were both amazing! |

I really feel like this team is built for a long run in the playoffs. I am not worry about the regular season. It is all about the playoffs. I think they will go far. I like the players they got and the 3rd and 4th lines are scrappy and tough. We were missing that last year. But it will all come down to Joe and Nabby, if they play lights out hockey they will win it all! There is not really a weak area on the Sharks. The weak area right now is just trying to figure out everybody s role. They have so many new players. So I say in about 40 to 50 game you will see what this team is made of. And if it goes the way I am hoping and thinking watch out! |
