Scott, I'm starting to think more and more that 2K10 might be the game I play the most in regards to playing a game. For lack of a better explanation, when I want to sit down and play a game between two random teams, I think 2K10 will be in my Xbox more than NHL10. There's a lot I like in those videos. The puck physics are still top notch, the face off system, fighting and player separation. The only thing that will stop me is if the CPU AI is still centered around one-timers and if hitting is still way over the top. But judging by the vids posted, the CPU doesn't seem to be hit-happy. And even then, the hits don't seem to have much of an effect when certain players are delivering or receiving them. I believe in the IGN review they even pointed out that attributes will play a role when delivering hits are concerned. WWTC at 2khockey.net has also made comments that he's spent hours and hours trying to beat the CPU on All-star level. It sounds like the AI is much tougher, will move the puck around, and better yet, it won't receive attribute cheats as you move up in difficulty; it'll get smarter instead. Music to my ears. I'm excited for NHL10 as well though. I love BAP and the EASHL. I also love hearing about the new GM mode, the better puck physics and the grinding aspect to it. But watching some of the video's it looks stale to me at times. I know when I got NHL09 I didn't play it all that much. There were reasons for it, but some of it was because it felt the same as NHL07 and NHL08 (which I played an abundance of). So maybe playing 2K10 will cleanse the pallet so to speak. It might also be fun flipping between the two from time to time to get a different aspect now and then. Anyway, I'm geeked for 2K10. I think it has tremendous potential. |

This is the game I will be playing. I like the demo for EA's, but its presentation is too lacking for me. I am so pumped for this game to drop! Dude I had no idea you are the same Hank from 2knet and OS. Are you?
