taking a cue from the popular What The Hell Is On Your Mind Thread I thought we could have a TV and Movie thread with the same type of vibe.

Thoughts? Yay or Nay on this thread.

I'm thinking about a sports one also but I'll have to check with the higher powers first :)

I guess I'll start it off.

I'm sad to see Life get the ax, I thought it was a great show that had a whole lot of potential.

I'm trying to get into Southland, since NBC is shoving it down everybody's throat but I can't, I've seen 60 minutes of it and it was quite a joke, I'll explain the one scene that had me  if anybody wants me to.

I'm lost interest in 2 of the 3 CSI shows, David Caruso is just too much to handle. I was ready to ditch the OG CSI but I just watched the Nick Stokes/Taylor Swift episode and this show is still brilliant.

dumped Heroes/24 awhile ago, with a few more on the bubble.

very sad to see Monk ending this summer but I guess a year sooner than a year late.

I was like "f**k" when:

ABC canned Life on Mars (ABC).

ABC dropped Dirty Sexy Money.

Sci-fi ended Battlestar Gallactica's run.

Sci-Fi dropped Stargate Atlantis

Sci-fi is ended Eurkea (this season)

CBS dropped Worst Week

CBS dropped Journeyman

I saw the first episode of Life on Mars but when I heard it was going to get shit canned I stopped watching, I got burned with New Amsterdam.

I never have any luck with Sci-fi shows, I was done when the Dresden files was dropped.

Journeyman was on NBC ;) and that was another show with a lot of potential that was ended too early.

I saw the finale for Scrubs last week. The show had gone downhill in seasons 6 and 7, but I thought this season was extremely good, and I'm a little sad to see it go. I guess they might continue it in a different format, but most the characters would be different, and they've said it'd be pretty much a different show. But that was the end of Scrubs in that incarnation.

I guess Supernatural might end after next year. The series creator has said he's done after next year, and Jared Paddaleki implied that he might want to see it end then too. They had 5 seasons of story, and with this type of show, it'd be hard to drag it out.

Speaking of dragging it out, looks like there will be 2 more seasons of Smallville, getting them up to 10. If they do, in fact, do this, I think they have to drop the no tights deal and have him become Superman. I could see this happening since the original producers that were so opposed to it are gone, but I guess Welling doesn't really want to do the tights thing either.
