Braves are 1-0. Yes! Lowe looked dominant, and Schafer looked good at the plate. Francouer hit a homer, but I'm still not convinced - he seemed to see the outside pitch pretty well, but chased stuff inside a lot.

I still miss not having the Braves on TBS anymore :(

nice start for the Braves, it really sucks that a couple of games got PPD

Looks like the experiment of using Jason Motte as the Cards closer backfired. Gave up 4 runs in the 9th. 6-4 Pirates

Kid throws hard but he doesn't have a reliable secondary pitch.

tough start for Motte but its still early maybe he needs to go out there on a regular basis to get the flow of closing. I know Dodger fans are worried about Broxton as the teams closer.
